Tebut Isfar deals with Valletta and the way it's been gentrified. Not only. It deals with the arrogance of the Maltese business class and the way some exploit their strong ties to people in power. The story focuses on Ġorġ who has lived with his daughter in his little coffin shop in Valletta all his life. But now a developer wants to buy his shop so that he could transform the whole building into a luxurious boutique hotel. Together with his wife Phyllis, they play a game on Ġorġ and his naive daughter Yasmina. First, Phyllis comes along with a strange request: she wants a yellow coffin. Then Gustav, her husband comes with the papers ready to be signed. Could Ġorġ be tempted to sell? But if he sells the place what happens to secret he is hiding in the kitchen?
