Senduq Kuluri Senduq Buffuri

This chest full of colours comprises of a set of readers for primary school children starting from Year 1 up to Year 6. I myself am the editor of this series together with consultant Trevor Żahra. Many writers, young and old, have contributed to this series as well as many illustrators. The Senduq Kuluri books are fiction and the Senduq Buffuri books are non-fiction. These books are still being used in many schools and for a long time they have filled the gaping void in the Maltese curriculum. For the past few years, I have been working on a new series of readers (Tikka Qari) which is slowly replacing the Senduq series.
