This collection of short stories features eight different women, each eager to share their story. Some have powerful tales to tell, while others have simpler ones. These stories celebrate women in all their diversity—through their personalities, backgrounds, loves, and challenges. Among them are Rita, who spends most of her day peeling potatoes, and Roża, who spends hers waiting for death. There's Camilla, who lets her hair down at night, allowing men to climb up to her bedroom, and Polly, who searches for empty bottles in exchange for a few cents.
